The University of Siena hosts international researchers and visiting professors in the framework of international mobility programmes such us Erasmus + Staff mobility for teaching, bilateral agreements agreements, Coimbra Group, etc.).
When working in a Unisi research centre/laboratory, the Welcome Desk for International Researchers, a member of the EURAXESS network, is at your disposal to help you to prepare your stay.

To organize your stay in the best conditions, it is good idea to plan it as early as possible. We advise you to begin the process 4 months before your visit to the University of Siena.

EURAXESS has 40 national portals with country-specific information, packed with practical advice on all matters concerning researcher’s professional and daily life, as well as career development, job, funding and hosting opportunities.
The Italian national EURAXESS portal provides information and assistance to mobile researchers – by means of this portal and with the support of the 15 local EURAXESS Centres.
The local EURAXESS Centres provide free and customized assistance to all mobile researchers and their families seeking advice on issues related to their relocation across borders.
